OUR STORY

MISSION

Berkshire Boulders is a climbing gym rooted in community. We believe that climbing is for everyone and that the places we climb, both indoors and outdoors, are worth protecting.

We donate our profits to organizations that expand access to climbing and strengthen the community around us.

We are dedicated to maximizing impact.

WHO WE ARE

Nick Friedman
Founder
Nick started Berkshire Boulders because he saw outdoor recreation in the Berkshires, particularly climbing and mountain biking, as underrepresented and full of potential. He wanted to build something tangible that could serve as a starting point for the community, both as a place to climb indoors and as a vehicle for expanding access to the outdoors.
Dan Yagmin
Partner
Dan brings over 30 years of climbing experience and is the owner of Decoy Climbing Holds, a company that designs and manufactures climbing holds and molds. He was named the 2025 Favorite Hold Shaper in the climbing industry. Dan curates and manages the entire climbing experience at Berkshire Boulders, from wall design to route setting.
